Why so many regular mesmer tomes? - Guild Wars Forums

I was buying up some regular tomes recently and noticed there is quite a disparity in the availability of the different types. In particular, the regular mesmer tomes always seem to be available in bulk, both in Spamadan and on the guru forums, while the regular tomes of other professions are often scarce.

Mesmers are a popular and powerful profession so I don't think it would be lack of demand for these skills compared to monk, necro and ritualist tomes, which are usually scarce. Is there any game mechanism that produces so many mesmer tomes or is this just a random fluctuation I've noticed?

Anyone have any idea?

People farm Vaettir HM,thats where the bulk is from.
60 mesmers that can be defeated in under 5 mins in HM.

Its not a case of the others are scarce - sin and mes tomes are now too easy to get - sins from raptors and most mes from vaetires.
The reason is simple - as those 2 farms are mass kills and the foes that are killed are only sin or mes.Other places tends to have mixed mobs but compare player 1 doing vq and killing say 200 foes in 30 mins to a raptor farmer who may kill err say 33 every min and maybe 990 foes in say 30 mins.
Ive got plenty of monk tomes doing first 2 waves of snowmen , ele tomes from ice golems/ice/fire imps.
